Profile: Dark copper to brown color with ruby highlights and thick, creamy, brownish long lasting foam. Aromas of caramel, roast and red fruit are discernible. On the palate, it is the malty character that predominates with characteristics of medium roast and caramelized sugar giving a marriage of sweet and bitter. Medium body and carbonation along with a distinct warmth from the alcohol combined with a long lasting finish complete an easy drinking dark German lager.
